Finally bit the bullet and ported the site to Nuke.6.9

It's a bugger to set up, but well worth the effort.

Yeh I don't like the default theme either. I made my own at first, but it sucked, i'm not the creative type. So atm  I just edit themes that I like.I'm using themes that have an html template, that can be eisily edited, so I can put my own header in, without messing around with php code. There is a Template editor out there, that I am going to take a look at. I also need to learn basic php.

Nuke doesn't scale too well!  Certain pages make 27 SQL calls!!!

Hey Berzerker, why'd you decide to go with version 6.9? 7.0 is very nice, and (IMHO) easier to mess around with overall. Furthermore, 7.1 Final is now out (not a free public release yet, though... $10 to dl), and it adds Subscription capabilities to your site.

So what attracted you to Nuke 6.9? Just wondering...

Shecky, the original post is dated December 17, was 7.1 final out at that time?  I know that 7.0 was, so that one could have been chosen, but I didn't think 7.1 would have been...

You're right. I really need to look at the dates before I start rambling on...

Hey, I've done it myself on a search and posted without noticing the date, but that doesn't mean we aren't both still perfect.  :thumb:
