Lunarpages introduces the Enterprise package!
« Reply #15 on: December 03, 2003, 05:12:46 AM »
Kathleen, I know you guys are busy and I don't want to be a bother.

I was just wondering how I could sign up for the Enterprise Plan. I've sent an email already regarding upgrading my account but I haven't gotten a respond yet. I was going to wait a bit longer cause i don't want to rush but I just found out that one of my friend who have two website are looking for another host cause they're not too impressed with the current one.

They basically want me to set it up for them so I'm looking to sign up for two Enterprise Plan. One new one and one upgrade to Entreprise. They're rushing me cause they're account are expiring soon and they want me to have everything up and going for them before the site goes down.

Sorry about this. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Did you send an email to enterprise@lunarpages.com?  I do not show a ticket open with your email address.

All you need to do is send in an email to the address I specified.  Incude your username, last 4 digits of the credit card on the account for verification and authorization to charge your card.

You'll then be put in the queue.

I sent an email to that address with some question regarding the charges to upgrade of how much it would be but I haven't gotten a reply. I find the email and resend it again.

I just wanted to know how much more I would be paying to upgrade. I currently pay the Shuttle Plan for a year with the ASP Enable, Dedicated IP and additonal FTP account which comes up to $160.80 for the year.

With the Enterprise Plan, I wouldn't need the add-ons any more. So how much more would I pay?

Also, you mentioned I would be put on queue, does that mean it will take awhile to setup the account?

Thanks

Yes, we are moving about 3 per day and there is a waiting list.

The difference would be the amount of the Enterprise Plan less any unused portion already paid on your existing account.

What email address did you send it from?  Maybe I'm looking for the wrong one.

Yes I am aware about the ASP, but I can upgrade that later, correct?

And the 3 add-on domain, that means I can host mydomain.com, anotherdomain.com, and thirddomain.com?

So does that mean that I will be charged $39.95x12 and then I will be refunded 11 months of the $160.80 since I have only used a month so far for the year?

$479.40 - $147.40 = $332.00 is correct to assume that this will be the amount I will be charged? That way I can just send another email to authorize right away and also to setup the second account which I will pay $479.40.

Thanks for the quick reply

It may be available at a later date but ASP is not available at all at this time.

You are correct about the add ons

The difference will be a prorated amount.  I will respond to your email with the exact figures as of today.

Additional storage?
« Reply #23 on: December 03, 2003, 11:31:02 AM »
What are the costs for additional storage on the Enterprise plan? I think the original proposal had much more storage than 2Gig, but I may be wrong. Anyway, I'm looking at an app that, if all goes according to plan, will need to house up to 315,000 images that I expect to have an averagel size of up to 100K each. That's 32 gig or more.

What's it gonna cost me if I need this much storage?

Hi!

The Enterprise plan looks pretty good, but I have a few questions:

1.) What number of users will be on the servers?

According to the thread titled "Semi-dedicated servers will be available by December 1st!" you will share the server with 8 other accounts.

The number of users on a server will depend on server performance
