Can anyone tell me if LunarPages Windows Hosting supports MVC 2?

If so, can someone with some experience point me into some getting started tutorials? The NerdDinner tutorial  on's website is great, I would like to use and publish but may need some help along the way. Thanks in advance.

This can't be installed on shared servers as after thoroughly researching this software we have found numerous reports stating that it is not stable for production environment, common reasons are these causing Stack Over Flow, Memory Leaks, Routing issues and validation issues, until this issue has been addressed by Microsoft we are not able to install this version as it could bring great instability to the server platform and to all other customers.

If you must need it, you will have to upgrade to a Windows VPS or a Windows Dedicated Server please visit for more details.

I felt the need to update this issue. MVC2 and ASP.NET 4.0 are both available on our newest servers (Tub and Maimom). ASP.NET 4.0 is available by request only. This is based on the functionality of Plesk control panel not seeing the updated version. Please note that if ASP.NET 4.0 is enabled on your domain then this would have to be either managed by us at your request or through your web.config file.

If you have any more questions related to this Please feel free to send a support ticket to the windows desk via sending an email to and our windows admin staff will be glad to assist in answering all questions.

Hi All,

ASP.NET MVC2 needs heavy enhancements. The idea was, Area should have dynamic registering/unregistering support instead of registering all the area at the application start. Recently, I am trying to find out what are the issues for adding such support and it turns out the issue is rather with the ASP.NET Routing instead of the ASP.NET MVC Framework itself.
