Hello everybody,

this is my first time on lunarforums: thanks for hosting!
I have some question about 3d-programs, is anybodyout there?

I am trying to understand which is the best visualisation software for architecture: I use archicad and would like to enjoy a really powerful and friendly software for rendering and visuaizing.

What's the state of the art?

Thanks for help,

hmm, they tell me 3d Studio Max 4.0 is a real good one. I am also told that Maya is way up there. However both of those are gonna cost you a chunk of change, so save up your paychecks for a few months first

Yep 3D Studio Max or Maya, both cost around $4000, $1000 with student discount.

They say Lightwave is good as well?

Haven't tried it though.

Together we can make stuff happen!

actually, there's a few good 3D progams on that you can try out for free.. some of them demos and only cost 40 dollars to buy..
for me, I've been using an progam called "Simply 3D" that came with another progam of mine called mircografx and I totally love it..
easy to use and you just drag and drop objects into there..
I've been making 3D anime girls with it
I am the messiah of time.. for me, everything that will be, has already happened for me.. and at the same time it is happening right now. In this madness of a Time parodox, I become the timekeeper who rocks herself into a nightmare in her own cradle..
