Monitor File Changes
« on: December 15, 2005, 11:21:02 AM »
Hi -

Are there any approved scripts or programs we can use that provides the webmaster with a listing of files that have been changed for their domain. This would include adds, deletes and edits.

While I can look at files with my FTP program, the process is labor intensive when you have to traverse through the folders. I was hoping there was a more proactive solution.

Thanks in advance.

Look on google for a perl script.  You can have it do a dir listing with date and size of each file.  Then do it again everyday via cron jog.  Prob put it in an array and compare the files.  Do a google search I am sure you can find something.
