is this what you're looking for?

<!-- THREE STEPS TO INSTALL PULLDOWN MENU (FRAMES):

   1.  Put this code in the HEAD of your pulldown menu HTML document
   2.  Add the last code into the BODY of your pulldown menu HTML document
   3.  Put whatever you want in the HTML document (rightframe.html) -->

<!-- STEP ONE: Put this in the HEAD of your menu HTML document  -->

<HEAD>

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">

<!-- This script and many more are available free online at -->
<!-- The JavaScript Source!! http://javascript.internet.com  -->

<!-- Begin
function leapto(form) {
var myindex=form.dest.selectedIndex;
parent.right.location.href=(form.dest.options[myindex].value);
myindex = 0; // reset pulldown menu
}
// End -->
</SCRIPT>

<!-- STEP TWO: Put this code into the BODY of your HTML document  -->

<BODY>

<CENTER>
<FORM NAME="myform">
<SELECT NAME="dest" SIZE=1>
<OPTION SELECTED VALUE="http://javascriptsource.com">The JavaScript Source
<OPTION VALUE="http://buttons.javascriptsource.com">Buttons Page
<OPTION VALUE="http://games.javascriptsource.com">Games Page
<OPTION VALUE="http://links.javascriptsource.com">Links Page
<OPTION VALUE="http://passwords.javascriptsource.com">Password Protection Page
<OPTION VALUE="http://user-details.javascriptsource.com">User Details Pages
</SELECT>
<INPUT TYPE="BUTTON" VALUE="Go" onClick="leapto(this.form)">
</FORM>
</CENTER>

<!-- STEP THREE: Put anything in other HTML document (rightframe.html) -->

rubix333, i asked my friends at sailormoon.org and here is what sailormech answered:

quote:

To make all of your page's links open in a new window, all you have to do is put the following tag between the HEAD and /HEAD tags of your HTML document:
<BASE target="_blank">

If you would you would like all of the links to open in the SAME window but still seperate from the main window, all you have to do is use the same method, but set the target to a unique value other than _blank, _self, _top, or _parent. You might use something like this:
<BASE target="mypage">

here's his second post:

quote:
In addition to the options I mentioned in my last post, you can also use a javascript with the property Celeborn gave to name a window. Simply put the following between the HEAD and /HEAD tags of your HTML document:

<SCRIPT language="Javascript 1.1">
window.name="blah";
</SCRIPT>

This way, the window the page opens in is given the name "blah" and any links targeted to 'blah' will open in it.

hope this helped
