Password Browser Extension from Stanford
« on: July 26, 2005, 07:20:08 AM »
I saw a short blurb in the paper this morning about a browser extension from Stanford that allows you to type in a single password while the extension transparently creates domain specific passwords.  That way you are not using the same password everywhere you go on the internet, but you don't have to remember a bunch of passwords.  Currently I'm using Roboform to do the same thing, but this looked interesting, so figured I would share it and see what others thought of it.

yea I heard of it. It uses your password, then puts the domain you are at into the password in some way into the password. Very neat!
