SSL Cert
« on: March 18, 2005, 03:00:37 AM »
I've got the cert, here's one of my forms:
https://www.werentcolumbus.com/makepayment.html

OK...so I see the IE lock but how can a doubting Thomas like me confirm that the info transmitted is truly encrypted?

Thank you!

You'd neet to get a packet sniffer to see the data being transmitted.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Thanks.

Ok...I've just downloaded NetworkMonitor and EtherDetect...found both to be pretty overwhelming.

Ole dumb me is looking for a button that says "click here to see the info that is transmitted from your form".

I think I'm short on terminology to find the answer in the Help files...what keywords should I search?
