One more question:

I have seen that the script Formmail sends the email with the email address of the person who fills up the form. I would like to change this and leave our default address as the sender, is it possible?

You mean you want the "From:" (when you receive the submitted form) to be your default address and NOT the person who filled out the form?

Is this what you are asking?

thats correct, thats what I want. I believe this scripts takes the email field info that I requested from the visitir and uses it as the sender, but I would like to avoid this and use my defalut email. I am going to change the "email" field to another name, like "contact", and see what happens.

Unless you have a better idea.

Ok, when doing this change, the email is sent with nobody@propus.lunarpages.com as the sender.

I need assistance here. Im sure it can be tweaked in the script.

I cheated the form by adding this lines so there is no field "email" with email address on it:
<input type="hidden" name="email" value="Prayer Request from Winmin.org">
<input name="contact_email" type="text" size="20">

But I still get nobody@propus.lunarpages.com as the sender

Okay, I was gonna tell you to use the hidden tag but put your email address instead of an URL, but then I realized that you shouldn't have your email addy in the form at all, unless you want harvesters to obtain your email addy.

If you do not want this, then the only way I see is to tweak the script, but I don't know enough about perl to help you with that.

Okay, after looking at your Contact page on your website, I see that you already put your email addy there for harvesters anyway, so it won't matter then that your form has it.

In that case, try putting this in your html form:

Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="email" value="info@winmin.org">

Make sure, however, that you change the field name that the Submitter uses to enter their email, because you can't be using the same "email" one. You might change theirs to "E-Mail". The script uses "email" (all lower case) for the "From:", so you will be safe to use any other variation of the word for the Submitter's input email area.

Ok, I will add that line. I didnt wanted to do so, as I was going to remove the email address from the contact page.
A pitty you dont know how to fix this.
I think someone should look into this.
