Please critique my website

I have a relatively basic photography website, but I wanted to get some feedback.  I just want to know if the navigation is intuitive, and if the pages show reasonably well on anything other than IE (which is all I have access to at the moment).

Thanks for any input you could give me.

You have some great photos. :thumb:

I understand you have the word green in your domain, but I would suggest minimizing the use of green for background color. I think your photos could make the dramatic impact that they deserve if they were set against more neutral colors.

As for navigation, a breadcrumb type navigation would help. As it is, once I click on a photo, the only way to see other photos is to hit the back button. So maybe you can allow people to navigate to next/previous photos when viewing individual photos. In addition to, or instead of, a navigation system so that the visitor can go to the photo's category without using the back button.

Very nice photos that you have in some of the links.. I agree with a little too much green but overall it looks pretty good  :thumb:

using firefox and works fine for me. I like all the green, but not sure about the light green over dark green. I think it would look better if you just typed the "thankyou for visiting" part on the same darker green bg. Also maybe eventualy use parts of your photographs for a banner and stuff.

nice photographs you have :thumb:

Thanks for all the comments so far.  I am in the process of experimenting with more muted colors (it's light gray right now), and all I can think is "What was I thinking?" with the green.  It used to be an even more annoying shade a few weeks ago.

I'm going to work on a scrolling array of thumbnails/breadcrumbs to make navigation easier.

Thanks again.  Much appreciated.

Very nice.  I like the "album" format you're using.

Might you like, though, to have links to other albums from each album?

Great idea.  I added the other galleries to the gallery view.  Boy, I'm 1000% happier with my site thanks to the suggestions here.

Currently I use an Olympus C8080-WZ, which is probably going to be much more than you'd need for web-only work.  If it's JUST the web you probably could get away with a 2MP camera, if you can even find one these days.  Even many 3-4 MP cameras are pretty cheap these days.

Except for the wallet, it doesn't hurt to have more MP than one needs. It gives more leeway when cropping.
