mod_rewrite problem please help me to have a friendly url
« on: January 30, 2005, 04:37:50 AM »
Hello Folks, I had read the mod_rewrite manual and I'm trying to have friendly urlís.

Code: [Select]
http://mydomain/balletposter/ballet_dance_search.html?plus=Ballet&n=20&t=1

This is my dynamic address

OK, I placed my .htaccess in /balletposter directory.

Code: [Select]
RemoveHandler .html .htm
AddType x-httpd-php .php .htm .html

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /balletposter
RewriteRule ^ballet_dance_search/(.*)/(.*)/(.*)\.html$ ballet_dance_search.html?plus=$1&n=$2&t=$3

However the rewrite script is not working, no translation at all. Is there anything that Iím missing???

Any suggestions?
