LOL, the link is for Dani actually. I figured she would need to see that the direct domain cgi-bin thingy works, but thanks!!  :)

As soon as she sees it, I'll remove it  :D

Did you add the "http://" part?

If you did, then maybe it is because I created the cgi-bin that it works for me via a direct domain.

Guldstrand, it isn't working because the cgi-bin created by the system when you created the addon domain will not allow you to place images into it (as my own example earlier showed).  You will need to remove that cgi-bin folder and re-create it.  Based on what leigh did, only user created cgi-bin's work to place images into them.  Please ensure all files and folders in the cgi-bin for the addon domain are on your local system as you will need to reupload them after you delete and re-create the cgi-bin folder.

Thanks.

I don't add my allow URLs via cPanel, I just change the htaccess file, so I'm not sure about the path for cPanel.

Have you revised your htaccess file in the past? If you have, then let me see it and I'll tell you what to add there.

Eh, ok...

So you mean that i have to delete the folder called "cgi-bin" in my directory for the addon domain (skanetech.com) and then create a new one manually??

Okay, scratch what I said for now regarding the htaccess file. We'll come back to that later if necessary.

First go do what Danielle said regarding re-creating your cgi-bin in your sub-directory folder. Dani is saying that you can't access the images via the add-on domain due to the system's creation of the cgi-bin. Since I created my own cgi-bin for the sample I showed, the image can be called from the cgi-bin via the direct domain.

This takes time, cause i have a big script in that "cgi-bin" folder with the pictures.

But if this really works, then i have no other options.  :-?

What you will want to do is to create a folder called cgi-bin2, then copy everything into that from the other cgi-bin. DON'T delete the original cgi-bin until you do that.  Then rename "cgi-bin2" to "cgi-bin" and it should be fine.

That way, it will be a simple and easy transition.

Okay, just hang on for a bit. Danielle is checking some things for you.

In the meantime, go to cPanel and in your public_html you have a file called "htaccess". Click on the file and in the upper right-hand corner of your screen, click "Show file". Copy what's there and post it here so we can see what's in there. I wanna see if you have the add-on domain in there.
