Hello,

Finished my site and would be interested in hearing what you might like, or not like, could do better, or error on page. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

Hi FST2005,

I glanced thru a few of your pages. Just a couple of observations.

Your feedback link is in the middle of the clothing links. It is going to get lost there.

With your formal gowns, it would be nice to have a picture of the back of the dress too. I know I probably would never buy anything like that without seeing both a front and back view.

I'm not real sure whether the clothing offered is new or previously used? Maybe I didn't read well enough, but I got the impression that it might have been previously owned. If that is not true, then perhaps that point needs to be stressed.

As you can tell, I tend to look at content more than web stuff. Someone else will have to comment on all that.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to check us out. About the things you picked up on. Could you maybe copy the link of page or tellme exactly where you have noticed the error's.

I don't know where the feedback link is in the middle of the clothing link is? And the area you mention about having PIC of both front and back, where did you only see the front, cause we take multi PIC's of every item.

Again, thanks for taking the time

Overall, it's a nice website, with plenty of nice content. However, I think you should have chosen a better initial template.  The biggest thing that bothers me if the banner at the top.  It's very technological (especially with the big computer on it).  I see that you simply photoshopped the banner to put your logo on it, too.  It would be a lot of work for you to fix now, but in the future, if you're gonna use a template, make it fit your purpose.

Have someone (maybe yourself, maybe someone else) redesign the header and buttons asap. They definitely take away from the content (clothing! last time I wore a personal computer was... never!)
Also, the animated gifs can go... they don't add anything to the site but extra kilobytes...
As was recommended, remove the page where it has the huge block of text and you have to press enter to enter, and make your index the main shop page.
You sure do have a lot of clothes, and that's the main draw here, so just have the site shell serve as a pointer to the clothes, and you're good to go!
Good luck designing!
Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the help, but am kinda stuck with only using certain parts...I'll explain.

As for the PC, I could not agree more with it having nothing to do with clothing, but Andale the web hosting company which is where my items are stored, doesnt offer much of templates to choose from, and figured at least you might tie the pc and clothing together by means of the whole "Shop Online".

As for the block of content, I was told and read alot about how having a good amount of content helps to get a good ranking with all search engines. Also Andale does not allow you or have the option to add any meta tags, IE keywords, title, etc.

As for the header on main page the "Enter Here" page....is it bad cause it doesnt look right, or missing somthing...I had a bit of an issue trying to come up with somthing close to looking professional...and its harder then I thought.

Thanks for all the help,
Brian K

I think it looks good but yeah the pc has GOT to go.  It's like sitting down to a movie and seeing "In Living Color" or "Now, with sound!"  at the beginning.

People are fickle when they shop-yet-they don't really read much at first.  They just 'look at what's there'.  The PC is definitely confusing at least.

Can you revert to the original template banner?  I know it shows a pda but at least its not contrasted (contrasted?).

The only advice I can think of is...move it over to LP ;)  Then do what you want to the content.  Are you forced to use their templates?  If so, then RUN don't walk to lunarpages.com and move it over :D

You have a good site going but honestly get rid of the pc if you can.

Hello,

Well I cant move it to LP becuase as MUCH as I WANT to, would be extremly hard to figure all the images/auction management feature's that andale offers, to make work for me on LP.

So as for the PC, I will either have to wait until they (Andale) comes up with more templates or adjust it somehow....there is alot of work that goes into making a site I didnt think it would be so. Its not that its really hard, but just much time does go into making a good site.

Again, thanks all for taking the time and being truthful about my site. I'm glad to hear I didnt *%&# upthat much...I guess my brain can learn on its own...love LP and the great help I have received.

I would make it known that the fur jackets are all faux/fake fur in every instance.... you don't want people to think you sell real fur goods

Hello,

Thanks for the eip but I have a question for you. We do sell real fur coats, so why do you say I should not mention I sell them?

We sell both real and fake.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks again.
