Hi Confused,

I like it. Just a few changes to suggest - don't know if it is possible though.

Could your pictures open in your template rather than a new window? You might need some forward backward buttons to help move from one pic to another, but I think they would look better if displayed in your template.

AT the top of your page, you have that smal LP avatar/banner whatever - it appears not to be part of your template and, IMO, is confusing. I would lost it. Although I do like the spacing it gives to the rest of your page.

As for your copyright question...this is the code for that line

Code: [Select]
<td valign="top" bgcolor="cccccc" class="style1">&copy; 2005 Lone Photo</td>

I don't know what the "&copy;" is for in that line, but I think if you lose that it might fix your problem? Worth a try.

Other than that - looks nice. You are doing good!

Aha, I finally spotted the problem, confused!

You need to add the # in front of the color in this tag:

Code: [Select]
<td valign="top" bgcolor="cccccc" class="style1">&copy; 2005 Lone Photo</td>

If you add the # to make that:

Code: [Select]
<td valign="top" bgcolor="#cccccc" class="style1">&copy; 2005 Lone Photo</td>

It will now show the copyright line in FF!  :thumb:

That's the copyright insignia, Pat, so he needs to leave that in  :)

Thanks Leigh I didn't know that. So now I have learned something new today.

Now you know why I normally don't try to help with coding issues!

Okay thanks for the Leigh and thanks for trying fret! lol

The little logo thing (that is what I was trying to go for......is it because of the colors or what about it doesn't match?

You think it would look nicer to have forward and back buttons? I was just thinking this was the better way to go because loading times are something I want to keep at a minimium and that would increase it a lot. Do you think it would really make THAT much of a difference? It would take quite a while to change it to this but if you think that it would be better that way it can be done.

Thanks for the feedback...DW is being stupid and not updating my pages so I guess its time to do it the hard way.  :?

AHHH!! DW did update the templates...this is so bizzare. Check the code in IE and then check the code in FF.

Code: [Select]
<td valign="top" bgcolor="#cccccc" class="style1">&copy; 2005 Lone Photo</td> That is IE!

Code: [Select]
<td valign="top" bgcolor="cccccc" class="style1">&copy; 2005 Lone Photo</td> That is in FF!

Can anybody explain this? Is my computer being stupid or......ahh I don't get it. Thanks!

Yeah....Leigh said it looked fine too. Thanks all.

Thu? Tranz? Not sure what to call you now...but what is your opinion on Fret's photo in the template idea?

I would agree with Fret to put the photos in the template and enable navigation as she suggested. :)

:(  awww okay. That means I need to have each photo on a seperate page...then add a navigation. I will consider this. Not sure if I want to do it though.

You did say to tear it apart...

Maybe there is a php script that would make that part easier and make an iframe in your template for the script to run in. Just a thought and trying to make your life easier after criticizing what you all ready had done!

I kind of want all my site to be done by me and not a script (except for the contact page)....if I were to do the other way I would make it before I found a script I wanted.

But really, thanks for the comments. One last thing, What did not make sense about the logo in the upper right? The colors? or it just seems outta place? Any ideas on what I should do about it because I do want something there.

OUt of place - you all ready have your banner/heading...I didn't understand what the purpose was for having that there. It seemed like it was extra and unneccessary..JMO

If you like it, leave it there....I don't think that is a big deal one way or the other.

I do like the spacing that having it there does for the main part of your site. I dislike sites that go all the way to the left without any spacing there. Probably why I prefer to have it centered rather than to the left. Just my preference though. Ask others whether having it centered or to the left is better for them.

So do you think it would look good centered and just take that out altogether? Actually....well anybody else post if they would like it centered...if not I like it how it is.

I would center it - again, just my opinion. If you prefer it to the left and with the extra logo, then leave it just the way it is. After all, it is your website and not mine.

One thing I really, really like is your slogan "Frozen in the Frames of Life" - That is so nice.
