I especially like the girl with the dragon on her chest
and the one called FINAL

what software do you use if you don't asking you this ?

I've been wanting to learn a bit how it's done. but I don't know what programs are good, or which are more easy to use...

Good job though!

Well thier not programmes you can just install and expect to do some awesome stuff. They take alot of time to learn to use succesfull;y :P anyway, the ones i use are adobe photoshop cs (version 8), poser 4 and poser pro pack and 3d studio max. Thier 3 of the main ones. Give em a try cause they are some awesome packages and just be patient and u will succeed:P

I'm already a bit familiar with with photoshop...

the others are new....

yes I wouldn't expect to do great stuff from the beginning.
also I'm not that interested in making 3D models.

It would be more to make stuff like your "final" picture.
Things i call fractals and stuff...

thanks for the info though ;)

I like the render1.jpg
Yeah wrt to 3d programs I know Lightwave the best but I strongly recommend against it.  Maya is my favorite but it is too pricey so I can only use it for anything at school or with the PLE (demo ver.).  3DS is good too, I really liked Rhino, it was like a scaled down 3DS last I used it.  There are a few free programs out there, of these Blender and Wings3D are probably the most popular, I have sort of started writting my own but it is on hold for the moment, should be good though if/when it matures.

Just noticed this but one of the web pages you designed and link to is missing an image where it says designed by, never a good thing...

http://www.tomas-seth.com/x-visions.jpg works though...

it took me about 5 days alltogether. including texturing and stuff like that. i forgot about maya lol. Ive had maya but i found it one of the hardest 3d progs out of the lot of them. Its some really complicated stuff. lol

Maya rocks, everyone says it's hard but I disagree, if you do all the tutorials that come with it and a few more and you'll understand how it works well enough.

Their tutorials are the best I've ever seen, sometimes a little too detailed but they tell you every single step what to do and how to do it.  When I first started LW I kept hitting the space bar to zoom in and using other maya commands.  Another plus for people like me: while I haven't used MEL extensively I have heard very good things about it.
