See if this helps:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/WinXP/Q_20948619.html

Otherwise, you can do a google search for that filepath and it will bring up a lot of results for that dll file.

Hello,

If i untick Bridge Rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\  in system configuration (msconfig) in Startup, will that get rid of the bridge.dll error on startup ?

As the bridge.dll is caused by RUNDLL which is rundll32.exe.

Kind Regards,
OmegaX

It might work,

I'd think it would have to do with removing some registry keys as well.

It appears to be adware/spyware. Try looking in Control Panel... Add/Remove programs to see if there's an uninstall option.

You may want to get the free Ad-Aware Personal version and scan for spyware/adware.

Just in case Adaware doesn't get it, the things listed in MSCONFIG are in the Startup folder on your Start Menu and also in the registry.  In the registry they typically hide in either HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run or RunOnce and in HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run or RunOnce.

I don't recommend simply unchecking the rundll32 entry in MSCONFIG as this 1.) Causes MSCONFIG to run at every bootup, which will just slow down the boot time and 2.) Doesn't solve the root problem that it exists on the system

Hello,

I check in HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

[Value Name]
RunDLL

[Value Data]
rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load
---- Registery Key ----
