multiple js files in same page takes a while to load
« on: July 28, 2004, 05:34:26 PM »
I used an application called all web menus pro to create java script dropdown menus. I need 6 separate js files. I'm worried these files take too much time to load the page. anyone have any ideas on ways to speed it up?

thanks

captainron,

when I opened up your web site, it seemed to me the images took longer to load then the javascripts them self.

Maybe you can include the JS files in the header and then just call them.

thanks for looking. actually, the java scripts include the images, and the codes for the javascript files , according to the all webmenus pro have to appear right before the </body> tag. would it load faster if the images were separate?
