Madmartian,

Have you tried the DNS workaround suggested earlier? If your not able to see it yet (because of the cached version) your computer won't be able to check email or access webmail either.

Try:

Temporarily changing your local computers DNS server to use lunarpages.

Use a proxy like www.proxify.com to test/access webmail

I'm off - but other staff will be keeping an eye on this thread.

Mike,

Just tested your webmail and it worked fine for me. I was able to login to your main account without any issues.

Jeff,

Do you have a subdomain we could look at? Or an addon for that matter.

Examples provided saves everyone time :)

Yes, finally after 11 hours of down time (today) I am back up. I can't wait to hear what insult I am offered as compensation for the destruction of my business.

Well, since it was 11 hours and the service is 22.95 a month that would be....  $0.37.

I like that Lunarpages wasn't loosing potential new customers since their website never went down!  I wonder how many new customers they got during our outages? (which is still going on for me BTW).

Tell me about it. I did my first paid advertising in a magazine. The magazine was received yesterday. I lost pretty much anyone who responded to the ad. And placing another ad won't fix that - many folks who tried once won't try again.

Jsigner,

Do you have a ticket open at the moment regarding your addon domain? I have asked someone to take a look at it - but a ticket still will need to be opened about it if its not resolving.

The aaryn server was the only one experiencing issues. It actually wasn't even down - just overwhelmed meaning alot of people got a timeout before they were served their content.

All the rest of the servers were running fine. As a side note - lunarforums.com is actually running on a customer server (galaxy) - nothing special about it.

Hi jsinger,

I have corrected both addon domains and your parked domain on the account.  When the primary was changed, I did not realize the others would not likewise be changed at that time.  This was my error when I made the changes originally, and I apologize that this meant a further delay in getting the addons and parked domains to resolve.  You will need to clear any caching information you might have, and I would suggest viewing via www.proxify.com to see a non-cached version.

Thanks.

So, are we on for all this again tomorrow?  Same time for day 3?

Lets hope not.
