I am sending the following email to Banic customers shortly:

Hello,

First, we want to apologize for the speed issues that are occurring and thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We are working diligently around the clock to resolve the issues with the NAS in order to fulfill our expectations of superior service.

We are still not at a speed level that is acceptable to us an Resin is not working as well with the NAS as we'd like. Therefore, we will move Banic off the NAS. We will begin migration back to the original set up this afternoon, Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 4:00 pm PDT.

You will experience no downtime during this process but we suggest no significant changes be made to your site during this time.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we resolve these issues.

I'm  on Zelter. My page loads have been fine this week. The only thing I noticed was today around 3 mountain time, my site would not pull up-- all pages returned a page not found error--but only for about 5-10 minutes. That's happened before, too, and I'm chalking it all up to LP needing to reboot things and move things around. We do not have any issues that have affected sales, thankfully.

The Banic move is complete and everyone on that server should see a much increased performance.  This will also assist with the servers on the NAS

We have seen the best server loads so far today and improving.

We will have additional information on the status of this tomorrow.

capricorn is still slow, unimproved

it was better for awhile early this am PST (~6am) and not too bad last night but its back to being slow again right now.  slow=10-15 second page loads, better/not too bad = 4-7 second page loads

It's GMT 16:27, I should say that laffan is still very slow.
It just had one day after "problem soved" that was fast, later on, yesterday was much slower, and today is very slow... I can view other sites very fast, and including lunarforums.com..

I wish the PROBLEM will be soved SOOOON.

I can't test your accounts as I am on a dial up atm   :argh:

But we do not show any load issues on the servers at this time.

We will move Zelter off the NAS today.

Hello,

First, we want to apologize for the continuing speed issues and thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We are working diligently around the clock to resolve the issues with the NAS in order to fulfill our expectations of superior service.

We have seen significant improvement on load since moving the last three servers off. We are going to continue with the plan of moving servers off while a final decision regarding the NAS is made.  Therefore, we will move Zelter off the NAS. We will begin migration back to the original set up this evening, Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at 8:00 pm PDT.

You will experience no downtime during this process but we suggest no significant changes be made to your site during this time.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we resolve these issues.

I've just joined LP on the 09 Apr 2004.

My site on Cerga is loading very slow. However, I respect the LP staff effort to put things in order quickly. I believe I've just had bad luck on the timing chosen to join LP.

I hope things get better soon.:|

my site on valina is going terribly slow too the last 2 days...

But I'm not sure if it's due to the server or the fact that I upgraded my site to phpnuke 7.2
