CGI page after submit!
« on: October 25, 2001, 04:53:00 PM »
Hi there.
When i've used cgi forms before i don't have to show the "result" page but just the thanx page. I can't get the result page to hide. Can someone help me with this?
Thanx

If you could email/post the script you are using it would be much much easier. Maybe just have them redirected after they sumbit to a seperate thank you page with a Javascript???

Just an idea, or in case of erroirs to error page from cgi then back to sumbit page?
Smile, it makes people wonder what you're up to...

You might try editing the actual form code to correctly point to the page you want to display when the user hits the submit button.  You also might just try to set the permissions to the results page to chmod 666.

Just a thought.

first make your thank you page however you want it.

Then add <input type=hidden name="redirect" value="http://www.account.com/pathtoyourthankyoupage.html">

the value should be the complete path to your thank you page

when the person hits submit it will automatically direct them to the page you created
