zero (0) displaying as lowercase o
« on: September 27, 2018, 09:54:42 AM »
I just came across something in my site's output that I don't recall seeing before. In some cases, a zero (0) displays as a lowercase oh (o). This is HTML text in xxxx.info file, embedded into a .php page with an include statement.

For example, in https://www.catskilltech.com/FreeSW/faqs/index.html#BadSqlFile you can see
Quote
integer field default value as '' instead of '0'.
but it displays as
Quote
integer field default value as '' instead of 'o'.

The previous section has something similar:
Quote
to a dummy 0 value
displays as
Quote
to a dummy o value

In both cases, the page HTML source shows 0, and searching in the browser for 0 works, but o doesn't. This happens in Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.

Has anyone ever seen something like this? Are *.info files supposed to be handled differently? Is this another Lunarpages oddity?
