Can you please explain how this works with (runs on) a Lunarpages web server? From reading the linked product page, I can't see anything using or needing a web server. I'm beginning to wonder if this is just spamming.

If this legitimately works with a web server, and is written in C++, you'd have to ask the tech support folks what the way to do this is. Your C++ code would have to be linked with the appropriate flavor (and version) of support libraries to run on a specific server. Different servers are going to require different libraries.
