Title: how to manipulate cookies using JavaScript
Post by: qoiiuarw on December 28, 2011, 07:55:17 PM
Cookies are small amounts of data stored by the web browser. They allow you to store particular information about a user and retrieve it every time they visit your pages. Each user has their own unique set of cookies.  A great feature of JavaScript is that it lets you set and retrieve browser cookies . Hope you can show me how to manipulate cookies using JavaScript  , thanks .

You can access cookie information using the document.cookie object. This object contains all the cookies in the string format name=value; name=value;

Careful before setting this on production. Google can penalize you if ever you get caught.

Care to explain this? Google doesn't normally care about cookies on a site. What kind of cookie manipulation will bring problems?
